Series developed after Perceptive Memories by the addition of layers of complexity. If seeking lightness was a goal in my previous project, in Color territories I felt the need of an anchoring capacity: the painting takes up the entire space of the canvas instead of an emphasis on texture and fragments. Larger scale, different color nuances and brush strokes were brought in to experiment different compositional structure and rhythm. The resemblance of a landscape is evident and perhaps inevitable, even if imaginary, like a projection of personal account of the observer.
